no man Mouth Was Blue (from Swagger)
Taken from Swagger: Lost Not Lost Volume One, 1989, 1990: Tim Bowness says, Taken from the archive collection Swagger, Mouth Was Blue was a key part of NoMans late 1980s, early 1990s live sets, when we regularly played at the likes of The Marquee, 100 Club, Rock Garden, The Flag and The Boardwalk. It predates our signing to OLI by a couple of years and is a good representation of the bands early propulsive ElectroRock sound prior to the making and releasing our breakthrough protoTripHop single, Colours. Theres a sense of urban paranoia in the feel of the track thats very nicely evoked by David K Jones video.
