L, S of an airfield couple of aircraft in shot. Young boy walks into shot with his father. It is Brian Bishop of Corringham in Essex he is Britain s youngest pilot (15 years old). The airfield Southend Airport. on Sea (SouthendonSea). C, Us of Brian zipping up his flying jacket and putting on his boots. C, U of his father. Brian walks towards his plane and climbs in. The plane is a Auster Autocrat. He isn t allowed to fly solo until he is eighteen. Good C, U of Brian in the cockpit giving the thumbs up sign. L, S of the plane being started up. We see it taxiing along then taking off. His father watches his flight.
