Hello everyone This is my favorite Jimi Hendrix song from his absolutely phenomenal live album, Band Of Gypsys. (1970). I must explain a little here I am a veteran, I served eight years in the Marines, and after watching the horrible as hell news this morning, I kinda went into a deep funk while reflecting upon what I had seen. This video is all I could come up with to explain my anxiety and sadness in a way that I felt everyone could easily understand. I have never attempted to play this one as a cover, as it s a bit long, but it definitely resonates with me today in a very big way. I didn t finish the whole thing, as I sorta broke down at the end. I hope you don t mind me playin along with Jimi Luv, Kev. Equipment: Stock Roland TD27 kit, TAMA Iron Cobra double bass pedals, and a dw9000 hihat.
