The UK s Supreme Court has ruled that the government s plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda is unlawful. The ruling is a major blow to prime minister Rishi Sunak whos made tackling illegal migration a key policy pledge. The court unanimously rejected the governments appeal against an earlier court ruling.
