George Clinton s Honorary Celebration October 25th The Apollo HHC Presents ABSOLUTE FUNK An Interstellar Trip to Honor George Clinton Tuesday, October 25 at Apollo Theatre in Harlem NY It ll be one city under a groove in this allstar tribute to George Clinton, the Godfather of funk, under the musical direction of Ray Chew Live (American Idol, BET Awards, Showtime at the Apollo) and hosted by Dr. Bob Lee (WBLS). We ll celebrate George and his 50 years in the funk and soul business with an amazing variety of PFunk friends, musical collaborators, and other guests. The evening will also commemorate the lives of Parliament, Funkadelic members no longer with us.
