Modern Console Table, , Sofa Table In this video, I show you how I built modern console table out of white oak plywood and some quarter sawn white oak. This piece is my version, interpretation of the Cloud Modular Wide Console by Restoration Hardware. I jazzed it up with some board and batten joinery on the back and recessed adjustable feet. This is actually a very low console table and sits only 23 high, so it doesnt work well with traditional height sofas. However, it is 8feet long and the height could easily be adjusted to fit your needs.
