Sound und Staub: Leopard 2 und Marder am GÜ Z
Vom 13. bis 24. Juni 2022 trainierten drei Kompanien des Jägerbataillons 91 und die britische Mechanisierte Infanteriekompanie Royal Regiment of Fusiliers aus dem nordrheinwestfälischen Sennelager komplexe Kampfszenarien am Gefechtsübungszentrum GÜZ in der Altmark. Am 21. Juni 2022 waren neben Generalmajor Heico Hübner, dem Kommandeur der 1. Panzerdivision, auch der Kommandeur der 20. Panzerbrigade, Brigadegeneral Carl Boswell, und der britische HeeresAttaché, Oberst Simon Hirst, anwesend. Die besondere Herausforderung für die übende Truppe bestand darin, dass Freunde und Feinde die gleichen Fahrzeuge hatten. Die Feinde waren wie bei solchen Übungen üblich mit einem roten Kreuz gekennzeichnet. Das Video zeigt einige Szenen vom Rande der Übung mit Kampfpanzer LEOPARD 2 und Schützenpanzer MARDER.
