Rockwell Collins Head up Guidance ( HGS) Demo Its Intuitive and Easy to Fly

Rockwell Collins Senior Manager of Headup Guidance Systems (HGS) Flight Operations, Dean Schwab, demonstrates how easy and intuitive it is to operate HGS. The demonstration was completed in the company s Portland, simulator. The simulated approach was into the mountainous region of Innsbruck, Austria and, as seen in the video, synthetic vision greatly enhances situational awareness. Rockwell Collins is the only company that has certified synthetic vision on a headup display.
