2020 Software Release Highlight COMPAL Aungier Model Calibration

In 2019, the Aungier model was added to COMPAL, our compressor meanline design and analysis product. The Aungier model is a globally accepted, physicsbased losses approach to aid in the design of compressors. Our development team has revisited this implementation in 2020 by improving the models calibration using an expanded set of test data, which includes a wider range of design requirements and applications.
