THE HOST (2006), FIRST TIME WATCHING, REACTION, American Watches Korean Film

I don t know if I would consider this a horror film, but I still enjoyed it. And as always, there s a deeper social, cultural story just beneath the surface, which I always appreciate. All the Bong Joonho staples were there: the chaotic scenes, tone shifts, humor, and fathers struggling to be better. My favorite scene: when they were eating together and Hyunseo sat up from behind the table, and when GangDoo s father explained why he s always sleeping.
