Moment plumber is dragged along road trying to stop thieves stealing van

Footage has emerged of a plumber getting dragged alonga road as he tried to stop his van from being stolen. The theft in Sheffield on Tuesday was capturedon doorbell footageand CCTV and left thevictim in hospital with injuriesto his feet and arm. Video from a Ring doorbell camera shows the man, dressed in a blue tshirt and shorts, running out of his house as a thief attempts to driveaway with his white Renault Trafic van just before 7am. The man reaches the door of the vehicle and clings on as it leaves his driveway andmakes a sharp left turn onto Smalldale Road, in southeast Sheffield. Separatefootage, from what appears to be a CCTV camera furtherdown the road, shows him hanging onto the door as his feet are dragged along the floor.
