What can I I mean they are not together, and they never will be. In my opinion this is a mistake but that s not gonna bring them together. The good thing is that Nate ends alone, I mean his love of his life is Serena, and sure he will have girlfriends in the future but they are not really relevant, I think that s why the writers didnt show nate with a girlfriend in the last scene.
