Mundine: Petition to change New Zealand s name to Aotearoa is a great idea

Indigenous advocate Warren Mundine says he is not opposed to the Māori Partys push to change the name of New Zealand to Aotearoa, which has been very popular for quite a while. Im not surprised that party called the Māori Party wants to revert back to the Māori name that they use for New Zealand, he told Sky News host Paul Murray. Its been very popular around for quite a while, in fact some businesses, some people actually use both names, New Zealand and Aotearoa.
