Expedition 49 Crew Receives a Warm Welcome in Kazakhstan and Russia
Expedition 49 Commander Anatoly Ivanishin of Roscosmos and Flight Engineers Kate Rubins of NASA and Takuya Onishi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency were greeted in a traditional ceremony at the airport in Karaganda, Kazakhstan Oct. 30, a few hours after landing in their Soyuz MS01 spacecraft in Kazakhstan near the town of Dzhezkazgan.
