Mary, Did You Know
For Mary, the mother of the Son of God, there was no imagining or misconstruing of the sacred. She knew who the baby was that lay against her breast. She knew of his promised destiny. Perhaps she knew that the deaf, lame, and blind awaited his cure and that many would look to him for salvation and the promises of eternity.
