Wenches and Mead 2021, Animated Music Video

Every two years since 2011, I ve animated the chorus of this song, set to my character Atom Smasher swigging a drink, to show off the progress I ve made with my art and animation. I feel like by now this exercise is a bit limited in how much it shows off what I ve learned a lot of my recent development has been in things like postproduction and visual storytelling, which doesn t really come across in a 20 second drinking clip so I figured it was time to retire the tradition. There will not be a Wenches and Mead 2023. That said, I couldn t think of anything else to animate this year, so given that it s the tenth anniversary god I ve been doing this for ten years I figured I might as well send it off with a bang.
