Set dressed to look like Roman villa. Merson enters dressed as Roman Caesar. A pretty girl in a toga reclines on a chaise longue. Various shots of comedian, Merson, singing comic song about Cleopatra. The girl asks him where his been and Merson enters into monologue in Shakespearean style about an illfated date with Cleo where he ended up in gaol.
