Thomas Anders was born in Koblenz, Germany and released his first recording in 1980 at the age of 17. He released 9 singles in Germany, none of which charted. Joining forces with producer Dieter Bohlen the two formed Modern Talking and had a worldwide hit with Youre My Heart, Youre My Soul in 1984.
