Megyn Kelly defends Tucker Carlson s duty as a journalist to interview Vladimir Putin

Sky News contributor Megyn Kelly has defended Tucker Carlsons decision to interview Vladimir Putin after recent backlash but says he must ask the Russian President tough questions. The former Fox News host said on Tuesday he was in Moscow to interview Putin. Back in my day, we were allowed to interview the bad guys it wasnt a shock to see a journalist across from a bad guy, Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray. I dont know when the new rule got handed down that we only get to interview the good guys its very whacky. I support his right and duty as a journalist to do it if hes not tough, if he doesnt ask him tough questions, hell be excoriated, rightfully so.
