Man Charged with Rape and Murder of Family Friends 1 Year Old Daughter

An Indiana man arrested in connection with the killing of a 15monthold girl found dead after she vanished from her father s home has been charged with the child s rape and murder, officials said. Kyle Parker, 22, pleaded not guilty to charges including murder, rape, child molesting, kidnapping, aggravated battery and strangulation. Shaylyn Ammerman s body was found in a remote area about nine miles from her father s home. She had last been by her grandmother who checked on her as she slept.
