The thermal scope is set for hot black, white cold mode, so it makes sense that as this object cools falls, it will change from black to white if it is a sky lantern. Or is it something else The interesting thing here is that all 3 of us were watching a clear sky with a 360 degree view. This object just appeared, but no one actually saw it appear.
