The shape of each piece of paper is a rhombuslike shape cut from a 3 x3 square. Your dahlia is going to be just gorgeous using squares so you do not need to create this shape (trust me, it s faster too ). I don t know why this bothers me so much but the shape it s not a TRUE rhombus, although I keep calling it one A rhombus has equal sides, similar to a diamond.
