Woman Reunited With Message in a Bottle 17 Years Later

A woman has been reunited with a note she wrote almost two decades after sending it out to sea. Emily Edwards, now 25, was on a family outing in Wales when her 7yearold self got the idea to write her future self a message. She wrote her name, age, and address down and dropped the bottle in the ocean. The message was found by a runner on a beach almost 60 miles away from where she left it. A Facebook post about the bottle made its way back to Emily.
