IvanoFrankivsk is a historic city located in Western Ukraine. It is the administrative centre of IvanoFrankivsk Oblast. Administratively, it is designated as a city of regional significance within the oblast, and together with a number of rural localities, is incorporated as IvanoFrankivsk Municipality.
