Calisthenics for Aesthetics: Episode 2 Legs
JOIN THE COMMUNITY FREE PROGRAMS Visit for free training templates, consultations and more training information. In this episode, I talk about several calisthenics exercise and variations you can use to develop your legs. Different variations of the basic movements can be used to emphasize different parts of your legs, helping you reach your aesthetic goals. Squats are the foundational leg movement that develop a base level of strength, conditioning, mobility, balance, and muscle mass in the lower body. Lunges can be an exceptionally effective tool for glute development, but also have a role as a total and complete leg developer as well. Pistols are perfect for those with stubborn legs, who need more intensity in their leg training. Aside from the basics, jumping rope, running, sprinting, plyometrics, cycling, and isometrics can all be used, carefully and strategically, to further develop some aesthetic legs (more as a byproduct).
