Watercolor Purple Anemone Flower WET on WET technique How to use nail Tutorial Step by Step
In this video, I will paint beautiful purple anemone flower in watercolor using a loose wet on wet technique. What is the WET on WET technique That water is still wet on the paper, you can punch in color and drop in paint. So, the color moving and diffusing is really fun and exciting to see and that s why I love the watercolor painting. I am staring with light color on the first layer. I like to use the splattering color method on the wet paper to emphasize naturalness. Sometime, I take out color with clean wet brush to express bright area like light reflected part. I will use a nail to mark the dark line on the petals. RE:Pencil drawing: The importance of pencil drawing can not be emphasized enough. While pencil drawing you can figure out characteristic of the subject. COLOR: I will use only two colors of permanent violet and ultramarine deep. White Gouache will be used for highlight part. PAPER: Arches Cold Pressed 140 lb. BRUSH: Mozart Supp
