The Bell UH1Y Venom (also called Super Huey) helicopter conducts a livefire training with the GAU21. 50 caliber machine gun and M134 minigun. Close air support training, Tactics Course Compilation. The Bell UH1Y Venom is a twinengine, mediumsized utility helicopter, built by Bell Helicopter as part of the United States Marine Corps H1 upgrade program. The helicopter is also called Yankee for its variant letter, Y. The UH1Y is currently in fullrate production to replace the USMC s aging fleet of UH1N Twin Huey light utility helicopters first introduced in the early 1970s.
