This is a wonderfully written suspense story about a 16yearold girl named Sarah, her Doberman Shadow, and an animal behaviorist named Dr. Claudia Griffin. Sarah inadvertently discovers that not only can her dog Shadow see ghosts, but when she puts her fingers between Shadow s eyes, she can see ghosts also. This is a great novel that features a strong Doberman in a role as a hero for a change. In this sitdown interview with the author, I learn how Shadow came to be.
