The French girls Alexandra TAVERNIER (world leader) and Alexia SEDYKH, (World youth champion), were expected to win medals and they did a 12 double . Alexia was the 1st leader with 67, 34m but Alexandra, only 4th after 3 rounds, did not panic and had a huge PB throw and new national record with 70, 62m at her 4th attempt.
