Seymour Duncan Phat Cat vs Classic 57s, Gibson ES 335

A vs test using a Gibson ES335 from 2001, with Phat Cats from Seymour Duncan vs Gibson original ES335 pickups (Classic 57s). The amp is my loyal Genz Benz Black Pearl 30, which is mic ed with a Shure SM57 into Logic Pro 9 via an Alesis IO26 soundcard. For overdrive tones I ve used my OKKO Twin Sonic pedal. Also featured is the Strymon El Capistan (echo) and an MXR Micro Amp (always on). I ve used a Nikon D800 with a 1635mm f4 to shoot the video, and used Wondershare Video Converter
