Black Mesa Surface Tension Gargantua Chase

Gordon Freeman evades a Gargantua hot on his heels as he tries to reach the Lambda Complex, in Black Mesa s reimagining of the same sequence from HalfLife 1. The devs really turned the chase up a notch, from the excellent and suspenseful score Surface Tension 3, to the chilling radio messages from a dying HECU soldier, to the parking garage littered with corpses from both factions, and of course, the literally explosive entrance of the Gargantua itself. Fun fact, in the original mod release, a large part of Surface Tension was not included after Gordon destroys the tank on the Osprey landing pad, he sneaks through a vent and it falls, transitioning to the Garg chase (and thereby skipping a large section of Surface Tension). The devs have since gone back and uncut the chapter, leading to this epic redo of the chase scene.
