JAI ADHYA SHAKTI Ulimate Mataji Arti beautifully rendered by Ashit Hema Alap Desai complete with Kayur Arti at the end. Aarti is performed at the end of all ritualistic worship accompanied by the ringing of bells. The lighted lamp is held in the right hand and is waved in a clockwise circling motion that illuminates the deity while the prayers are being recited. The significance of this lies in the fact that our minds become focused when we see the illumined form of the Lord in all his beauty. Many devotees close their eyes while performing the Aarti. This signifies the purpose of our life to find the Lord within and to become one with Him. Therefore, each one of us is a temple of the Lord we hold the Divinity within. Camphor (Kapur) represents our desires and it is burnt at the end of aarti. Camphor, when it burns leaves no residue.
