M, S of actor playing Isaac Newton looking at the fallen apple. Various diagrams of the moon and earth showing the pull of gravity. M, S as liquid is spun around but doesn t spill because of centrifugal force. The narrator explains the moon and earth work in a similar way. M, S of man falling in boxing match. M, S as smoke rises from a cigarette. A photograph of Piccadilly Circus explains the earth tide where the earth rises a foot under gravitational pull of other stars.
