L, S of the Royal car followed by tribesmen on horseback. Shots of an African man performing a ritual dance. He wears a single tall plume on his head and European clothing. Others are seen in the group in similar clothes (shots very dark). King George VI and the Queen sit on a dais watching a display (may not be the above dancing). The King looks rather weary and closes his eyes. Basuto horsemen ride across countryside. A man on foot performs a tribal dance in front of the men, then they carry on. They wear western hats and shawls across their shoulders. Shots of traditional thatched huts.
