Lachrimae pavan by John Dowland, Tuomas Kourula, lute OPHELIA

Lachrimae pavan is a seminal work: it s of course the most famous lute solo in John Dowland s oeuvre and probably in all lute music, but, aside from that, it has personal significance to me. That must be the reason why, although I didn t consciously choose this piece for this special project, it still was, in retrospect, the only possible choice.
