Restoring an Original 1976 Apple 1 Computer
This video documents the restoration of my recently acquired Apple1 computer motherboard. I have been a collector of vintage Apple computers since the mid 1990 s, and I have always wanted to include an Apple1 in my collection. Due to the rarity and cost of an Apple1, it took me more than 20 years to make it happen. I don t intend to hoard this Apple1 as some sort of trophy in my office. My wife and I are keen to find a suitable museum or other public venue where this Apple1 can be put on display and available to anyone to appreciate. We live in Dubai and would prefer to keep it in the country so that we can also visit it from timetotime. At the end of the video you ll see some photos of the Apple1 components and replicas that I own. It is because of them that my colleagues and I had the experience and confidence to undertake this restoration.
