German songs through the ages

This was probably one of the biggest projects I ever made, it took me several weeks. Let me explain which songs and why I took them. At first you have to consider, that I had to be careful with copyright, which is why I couldn t include many songs or certain versions I wanted to include. Then I simply couldn t add too many songs. The file is already now 13, 5 GB big and over 2 hours long. So sorry if a song you would ve liked to see in it, isn t included. I grouped the songs for each age, but for example for the Germanic era, where no songs exist anymore, I had to refer to modern paganfolk songs. Sometimes I also added a song that is newer (for example Landsknecht songs) but fits in thematically to an older age. But I always wrote in the info from which year it really is. Within the age categories, I didn t only sort it by the year of publishing only, but also thematically.
