Famous Garda Boxers (1927)

Item title reads: Famous Garda Boxers. Hard in training for the Garda sports week which will be held in Dublin, June Dublin, Ireland M, S as boxers train in an exercise area and randomly attack each other. They look quite thin. One man wears black knickers and another has an emblem on his vest like a skinny superman outfit. They stand in a line and skip, with skipping ropes, in unison. Looks very neat and professional. Next, they box in pairs with gloves. They wear black shorts and white vests, with little black socks. Finally they pose, trying to keep up a cheesy smile for the camera. C, U of one man practising his arm movements to camera. Note: Some of the men look really thin with skinny legs, but move fast and could probably beat the living daylights out of their opponents.
