Sigma 24 70 Dust Issue Repair Cautionary Tale

I was recently the victim of the dreaded Sigma 2470 f2. 8 internal dust issue. It s also my ONLY native lens for my new Sony FX3. After scouring reddit and dpreview message boards, it seems like many of these lenses are prone to having dust collect INSIDE the lens.
