Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Hard rocking trio, Rock Goddess began in 1977 by sisters Jody Turner and Julie Turner while still in school, along with Tracey Lamb the band began to play gigs in the local South London area, mainly with the help of the bands manager who also was the father of the Turner sisters. With Jody on vocals and guitar, Julie on drums, and Tracey on bass, the band saw several second guitarists come and go before deciding to remain a trio and setting out to conquer Londons ever growing hard rock scene. Playing local gigs did prove to be a challenge with the age of the girls, however they were quickly noticed for their sheer talent and were signed to major record label A M by 1982. The result, 1983s selftitled album, produced by famed British record producer Vic Maile, who worked with bands from Motorhead, Fleetwod Mac, and Led Zeppelin, to name a few.
