Consequences A Little Game Played In The Park And Elsewhere (1922)
Perfect little film about the stages of a romance. Very cute. Shows how body language can tell a story we never see the faces of the protagonists. C, U of woman s legs as she sits on a chair in the park. A man walks past and sits beside her on another chair. He is wearing a pinstriped suit and spats. He has a walking cane. We see the woman pull her skirt down a little and turn her legs away from him. She accidentally drops her handbag. They both go to pick it up and their hands touch. She takes the handbag and puts it on her lap. The couple turn their knees towards each other and the man shuffles his chair over to get a little closer. The woman moves her legs around in little excited movements and fiddles with her parasol She turns her knees away and then back again. They both stand up and the woman leans towards the man with one of her feet on tiptoe (presumably they kiss. ) They walk off screen.
