Black belt breakdown of green belt beating them

Hi I m Samantha Faulhaber, the black belt in this video. Sydney James is a 14 year old green belt, which means I ve been training about the same amount of time Sydney has been alive. Sydney and I made it to the finals of a purple, brown, black belt and advanced teen division at NAGA Battle at the Beach 2017, and this was our fight. She did a lot of things right and the window I had to do something about it shut down and to my knowledge and efforts at the time didn t open again after the first thirty seconds. I m really excited for this quiet, respectful person to grow even farther in the sport. I had a lot of fun jumping in to fight in all my matches that day, and while this wasn t my favorite part, I had fun this whole time too.
