1944 48 Salvador Dali art illustration Bryans Hosiery Pantyhose Stockings Legs Surrealist Ads
Some of my top favourite vintage ads from the 1940s were from Bryans because of the unconventional style of presenting hosiery. Between 1944 to 1948, Bryans had avantgarde surrealist art to promote their hosiery. Who better than Salvador Dali Surrealism was a cultural movement that developed in Europe in the aftermath of World War I in which artists depicted unnerving, illogical scenes and developed techniques to allow the unconscious mind to express itself. The use of body parts legs, feet, hair, hands and eyes were fetishized by the surrealists. This made it the perfect match for both the company and the artist. This is a compilation of the Beautiful Bryans Hosiery ads. Comment below on your favorite one If you enjoy this video, please LIKE, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE to the channel. It would help the channel out.
