My boss and I have been listening through all the old Anjunadeep volumes at work. This past week we finished off Anjunadeep 06, to which Bandur is the penultimate track. It was a pleasure being reminded of this MASSIVELY underrated track. The dark energy of Bandur is unparalleled. There s an almost ominous air about it, with a few chords of bittersweet feels woven through. And, of course, it s as groovy as they come. What results is an enveloping, moving, and surprisingly haunting track.
