Clashes erupt as protesters rally against woman s sentencing in Germany

Protesters in Leipzig scuffled with police after a court in eastern Germany sentenced a woman to more than five years in prison for taking part in a series of attacks on neoNazis and other rightwing extremists over a period of two years. Prosecutors accused the woman of militant extremeleft ideology and of conceiving the idea of attacks on farright individuals in Leipzig and nearby towns.
