October ( Love Song) by Chris Cosey (1983), 40th Anniversary re release

40th Anniversary remastered for YouTube 2023. October (Love Song) was Chris Cosey s first single and was originally released by Rough Trade Records in 1983. The music was recorded on 8track at Chris Cosey s London home studio and the selffinanced promo video was shot on rented Umatic video equipment (with assistance from John Lacey and Steve Pyke) at Butler s Wharf, London. Editing and postproduction was carried out at LVA (London Video Arts) cooperative in Soho. The audio remastering was on a digital copy of the original 7 single master mix and the video remastering was completed on a digital transfer of the original Umatic master video tape. The new stereo audio mix was then used to replace the original (lofi and noisy) mono audio video mix. Copyright Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti 1983.
