Rag Parade (1956)
NewcastleonTyne, Tyne and Wear. Students prepare their floats for a rag parade through the streets of Newcastle. Students featured are from Kings College, Durham University. Several students work on a float which is decorated to look like a train. Other floats are seen. C, U of the rag collecting tins. They are labelled Rag 1956 and money collected will go to Dr Barnado s homes. L, S of floats including one called Crock s Island where students are bandaged up and have crutches.
