Item title reads: The Great Storm. Torrential rain almost tropical in its intensity in a few moments turns streets into South London M, S of motor vehicles and a horse and cart approaching, towards camera, through flooded streets with a tram in the background. The water is half way up the wheels of the vehicles, quite deep. There is a shot of an abandoned hand pulled Hovis Bread cart in rushing floodwater with houses in the background. A man walks along the pavement with floodwater rushing down the road. A car and an open top double decker bus make their way along, through the deep floodwater, turning in front of the camera.
