Neil s first album was released in 1966 on Bang Records. The LP was produced by Jeff Barry Ellie Greenwich. The main reason for this album was to promote Cherry Cherry even more. This song, Hanky Panky, was originally recorded by Jeff and Ellie as the Raindrops in 63 for Jubilee Records. The song was later covered and made into a hit by Tommy James The Shondells for Roulette. Neil didn t even want to record this song but he did anyway
