This is my transcription of the Bill Evans Trio performance of Alice in Wonderland (take 2) from Live at the Village Vanguard. Bill Evans, piano; Scott LaFaro, bass; Paul Motian, drums. While most transcriptions focus on the pianist s right hand line, this one includes the left hand voicings, bass part, and drum part. This performance demonstrates the profound rhythmic and metric fluidity of this trio, along with a neartelepathic level of interaction and instantaneous communication.
